Compressed air filter, as the very name implies, filters out all contaminants present in compressed air obtained from compression process. The air from the compressor contain oil, pollen, dirt, dust, rust, moisture and other contaminants, and by using compressed air filter, all contaminants can be removed. There are two compressed air filter that can be differentiated based on the design and filter mechanism. Generally, inertial impaction, interception and diffusion are three mechanism used to remove solid particles from the compressed air. As these filters are developed to carry out effective filtration, customers can be assured of no pipe corrosion as well as no equipment downtime or damage.

Pressure Rating: Defines the maximum pressure the filter can withstand without leaking or rupturing, commonly measured in pounds per square inch (psi) or bar. Operating Temperature: Indicates the temperature range within which the filter can effectively operate without performance degradation. Port Size: Specifies the inlet and outlet port sizes of the filter to ensure compatibility with existing piping or systems. Media Type: Describes the type of filtration media used in the filter, such as activated carbon, molecular sieves, or various types of filter cartridges. Housing Material: Specifies the material used for the filter housing, which may include aluminum, stainless steel, or other corrosion-resistant materials. Certifications: Any relevant certifications or standards compliance, such as ISO 8573 for compressed air purity or ASME for pressure vessel safety.
