About Duplex Strainers
Duplex Filter/Strainer is used for continuous operation without stoppage of filtration process. Duplex filter is also known as one working and one stand by filter. Duplex Filters are available with Three way ball valve, two way ball valve and butterfly valve. Filter elements are easy to remove and clean. We offered duplex filter with flow direction in to out or out to in as per dirt load and application. We also offer back wash arrangement. Our Duplex filter in MS/CS MOC is available with Painted, hot dip galvanized and powder coated. Duple filter in SS MOC is available with mirror polished both side and glass bead blasting.

Continuous Filtration EfficiencyDuplex strainers ensure non-stop filtration by alternating between two chambers. When one side requires cleaning or maintenance, the standby unit takes over without interrupting workflow. This unique feature maintains process integrity and helps prevent downtime in critical operations across diverse industries.
Tailored Design and MaterialsEvery duplex strainer can be customized for shape, size, mesh specification, material composition, and even color. This flexibility allows seamless integration into existing systems, ensuring compatibility with varied industrial filtration tasks such as removing contaminants from air, gas, or liquids.
FAQs of Duplex Strainers:
Q: How do duplex strainers provide continuous operation during maintenance?
A: Duplex strainers function with two parallel chambers, so while one chamber actively filters air, gas, or liquids, the other remains on standby. If maintenance or cleaning is needed, users simply switch flow to the standby unit, maintaining uninterrupted filtration.
Q: What customizations are available for duplex strainers?
A: Duplex strainers can be fully customized to fit specific requirements, including shape, size, mesh type, material, and color. This ensures the solution matches your unique process and operational needs.
Q: When should duplex strainers be used in industrial filtration?
A: Duplex strainers are ideal for operations where downtime is costly or unacceptable, such as in continuous industrial processes involving air, gas, and liquid filtration. They guarantee reliability and efficiency by minimizing filtration interruptions.
Q: Where are duplex strainers commonly installed?
A: These strainers are often found in facilities handling fluids or gases, such as chemical plants, water treatment stations, manufacturing units, and any operation requiring consistent filtration without process stoppage.
Q: What is the process for switching between working and standby chambers?
A: The switching process is straightforward: operators use integrated valves to divert flow from the active chamber to the standby unit. This can be done without halting operations, enabling seamless cleaning or replacement of filters.
Q: How does using a duplex strainer benefit my filtration system?
A: Duplex strainers offer enhanced reliability and efficiency by ensuring continuous operation, reducing maintenance-related downtime, and providing customizable solutions suited to various filtration needs.
